IWIL President's Letter September 2026

8/23/2026

I hope you made the August lunch last month.  We had a wonderful Thursday centered around compliments: giving them to others, receiving them, and giving them to yourself. Diane was uplifting, encouraging and filled with joy and in the spirit of her message today I have some people to say thank you to:

To Tammy and Macy, who are working overtime to get our invoicing corrected in the
new system.

To Lisa and Maggie who have led the charge to get the new website as beautiful and organized as we all wanted it to be.

To Ava, Amanda and Kathy who welcome all our members and make sure they feel at home.

To Kajanda and the programming team who has a wonderful year of lunch planning organized for us.

To Jessica and the whole ATHENA team who pivoted with grace and gave us a beautiful event.

To Deb who continues to offer help and support as we move into the new year.

To Amy and Nikki who continue to produce exciting and fun-filled events with amazing precision.

To Stacey, who stepped in as Secretary and has taken everything in with remarkable speed.

To Michelle for keeping the scholarship committee on track.

To Sarah, Lauren and our symposium team who have an amazing full day of interesting topics for all the women in IWIL organized for the 17th of September.

To Jill for bringing new and innovative ways for us to support our community through CHGC.

To Abby for taking on the complex task of coordinating all our sponsors and teams into a cohesive plan.

To Jen and Donna for sharing this helm with me.

And finally, to all of you.  For showing up.  For supporting each other and for finding new friends to join us every month.

We have a wonderful year planned for you, and we love having you all in the room.  I
hope you will make the pop-ups, lunches and symposium, and if time and finances
allow, join us on one (or all) of our upcoming trips.

I love being on this journey with you.
